{I for one am not homosexual, nor do I wish to see two man welcoming each other on signboards, or on the street. That does not offer me the right, however, to enforce my beliefs on anybody. Not as a private and most assuredly not as an organisation. 2 same-sex people are of no threat to me. My worths and my requirements are my own and can not be endangered by the love of 2 individuals. If we were to pay attention to the Pope, and take action that force homosexuals to stay in the closet, we are the ones causing discomfort to others. And let’s be clear. {Homosexuality is a reality. It is a not a frame of mind but a state of being. The majority of us understand who they are. It is simply apparent in a lot of cases, like the colour of skin. Homosexuals are coming out of the closet in greater numbers, leaving their wives and kids behind to be who they are. We must open our society so that they can be “freed” prior to they are forced to absorb into our “regular” way of life. They must be enabled to live. and love without fear of consequence. And most notably, they must be enabled to care for their liked ones as we do ours. They must be enabled to grieve at the loss of their liked ones like we do ours. A homosexual must be treated as an equivalent. I need to not need to argue that truth. {Women and fro-Americans|Fro-Americans and females} have a long recorded history of battle, discomfort and finally triumph.
