Stuart Sternberg is the principal owner of the Tampa Bay Rays, a Major League Baseball team. Sternberg, who was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1959, first became involved with the Rays in 2004 when he purchased a minority ownership stake in the team. He became majority owner in 2005.
